Broken Mirroz on O.P.E.N.
The band
Broken Mirroz is on the show O.P.E.N. (Ordinary People
Entertaining Naturally) and has been the supporting band for
the program which comprises of 8 shows. These shows have
been and are currently being aired on TV6 on Saturdays at
6:30pm and are repeated on Tuesdays at 10:30pm (after the
late night news).
Broken Mirroz
not only was the supporting band for the performing artistes
on O.P.E.N., but also performed a couple of their own
original songs.
''One of
the reasons we are a part of O.P.E.N. is that it promotes
FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. I am sure that the viewers of
Islandnoise would find the program interesting and may even
want to be a part of future shows - either as members of the
audience or even performing their own pieces - from songs to
poems.'' - Davind Madoo
''Just so you
guys know, jointpop has an official facebook page ;). We
have our latest video up for the Mystery as well as a
complete discography. Music will be up and operational
soon. You'll be able to listen to the entire January
Transfer Window.
HEIR PERPET -
Fright Club (Unified Generation) feat. Component and Blinky
''Brothers and
sisters,
A new version of Fright Club has been recorded.
Component (Andy Rambharat) and Blinky
(Anti-Everything) have been kind enough to come in and
contribute new vocals to the song. This collaboration is a
great opportunity for all of us to come together and
demonstrate that unity and respect does exist among various
artists' within the rock scene. We are all inspired by each
other's work and have been for a long time. During the late
90's Alexes Machine laid the foundation for hardcore
music in Trinidad and Tobago. HeadStrongViolence
emerged shortly after and pushed the art form to a ferocious
new level and now many years later we have bands like
Anti-Everything who are introducing a new brand of
hardcore into our culture in the form of unapologetic punk
rock.
Fright Club (Unified Generation) will be posted
online at myspace.com/heirperpet next week
Monday (Feb. 25th). Stay tuned!''
Noted frontman
Andy Rambharat well known for his work in the rock
scene and as the singer/bassist for metal giants Alexes
Machine(now defunct) recently inked a deal with
the independent music label Odd One Entertainment*.
The full length project which is being dubbed Component
will be produced exclusively by artist/producer Jon Amow
and is already on track for a March 2008 release
date.
According to Andy "This project came about at the right time
in my career, I was looking to move away from the roots
metal genre that I've been known for in the past and
establish myself as a more versatile artist."
The album will be released in both digital format as well as
the standard cd format in 2008. Stay tuned for more
information.
*Odd One Entertainment is also home to HEIR PERPET and
Kill The Killer.
